The rooms were airy and functional, with a very comfortable bed, ideal for us. the staff were amiable and the atmosphere was special. - the hotel's location was good for waking up at 3 am for the Bluff Knoll hike.

The free parking was outside, superb service. We ate at an awesome restaurant for a yummy meal too.

The best part of Amity Motor Inn is the wonderful wonderful Indian restaurant attached to it!! The rooms are clean and well kept though.

The reversible air system in the room is too old and too loud. Therefore, it's impossible to run if you are sleeping. It's blowing directly in your face. The doors creak and bang in the night due to the wind, hinges that creak to the point where it wakes you up. The colour of the tiles in the bathroom gives it such an old feel (not in a good way), would have used retro if it is a positive feel. Sort of makes it feel like the upgrading was only halfway done! Walls have bad sound proofing, I can hear everything next door to me, and I mean both sides!!

This place is conveniently located next to restaurants and bars, making it a perfect spot to stay.

We've got a room with electricity went off during the night and we couldn't get anyone (from the hotel) to help as reception has closed at night!! And the assistance contact number wasn't updated. A bit annoying. Fairly, the hotelier give us discount due to their faults (room damage). Overall, I satisfied with their service and their consideration.

The staff here was really helpful and the room was a good size with everything I needed - a great shower, a big comfy bed, and even an extra single bed 🌟. It was definitely worth the money spent.

It was easy to spot on, it is along Albany highway to the city center. Not far (driving) from everything important to see and do in Albany There's a famous-looking (judged by the number of guests that night) Indian cuisines restaurant operated by the Inn near the lobby.

They can improve on the bathroom. We stayed in 2 inter-connecting rooms and both bathrooms' doors didn't worked, it could not be closed properly, but the bathrooms have separate doors for toilets though, and those doors worked. No microwave oven in the rooms, but toaster is provided.
